I looked at every year from 1851-present and got all the major hurricanes.I then made a spreadsheet that list all major hurricanes by month,year and USA landfalls.This page includes the spreadsheets.The first list is Major hurricanes by month for each season from 1851-present.Second list is all major hurricanes each season and USA landfall by state for all seasons from 1851-present,and landfall point for each storm.Then finally I made a list of records and facts.
The first list list only states where the storm made landfall.Other areas might have experienced cat 3 or higher winds
